We are working on Fall right now. Today we worked on Apples. As you know we went Apple picking on Monday and had a wonderful time. Those of you who’s children went with us got a link to the professional photos done by Sofie Lee’s Photography.
Today we read several books during circle time about apples and how they grow, how they grow in different colors and even made a couple apple crafts. One was a coloring sheet where the kids were to color the three apples the three different colors that were discussed in the books. The other craft involved gluing Red, Yellow & green Pom poms onto a tree. They did a great job with the glue and pom poms. The pre-school is primarily focused on my 3 year olds, however, I involve my 2 year old’s as much as I can keep their attention. Once we get to Letters and numbers is may become more difficult.
After our craft/learning time we went out and played on the playground. The kids sure got some energy out. And we were right back out there when they got up from naps.
